What بتول فواز doesn't like about Restaurante Bar El Desvare de La 70:
Super hot and sweaty as everyone else has noted. I was sweating with 15 minutes of arrival, and unfortunately the one Aguila beer that I bought was not very cold. If you are going to just watch its good for a quick peak, but if you are staying be prepared. You may have to stand on a busy night and watch. I didn 't stick around long enough, but it looked like a couple was just wrapping up dancing, with everyone else i... View all feedback.
Amazing place with a lot of fun and colors. The staff was really helpul in explain the menu. The food was great, we share a few dishes. Ib recommend the Chicharrones as mu favorite but all the lunch was delicious.
Walked by and it looked good. However, the recent reviews were a little over the place. I had a good meal though and would recommend. The waitress was fantastic and did a good job. I had the cherresco and it was good. A little tough but was cooked correct. Salad was good and portions were nice. Steak had a good flavor to it. Prices were above average for Colombia but well below average for the USA. I would recommend.
I read a couple of previous reviews complaining about the service. I can't speak for La Tienda before 2020, but my recent trips there were awesome. The food is traditional Colombian and is good for this style. Importantly, the kitchen nails the temperature of the food here, which can be spotty anywhere, even in the US. Colombian service is...well it just is what it is, but here the service for me has been nothing but spot-on and is certainly vastly superior to that of most local restaurants. Poblado restaurants are their own, Westernized deal, but most local places simply don't provide what anyone outside of Colombia would consider attentive. But someone at La Tienda figured out that good service makes people happy, so have trained the staff accordingly. Pro tip: ask for a waiter named Brian if you want someone English-speaking. Super nice guy from New York!
If you plan to visit Medellin make sure to stop by this restaurant, if you have the time, for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. The servers are wonderful and the food great and you will enjoy and you can also take some cool pictures.
Only in town for a few days and many restaurants in the area. I wanted to eat outdoors and this is one of the few that are open in the morning. Very much enjoyed the scrambled egg, chicarron, frijoes y rice bread with cheese, coffe and mango juice
