Third time eating here this week! I try different empanadas each visit so far my favorite chipotle beef with sweet plantain. They also have one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've eaten. Definitely recommend this View all feedback.
What cram c doesn't like about Island Empanada:
First time and the last time I will come here. The service is horrible when I went to go order at the counter the kid just stared at me and didn't say a word. Even after I said how are you. The best part is after I paid with my card I signed the receipt and the kid points and shows his other co worker that I didn't tip right in front of me. I ordered the pork plate and was delighted with every part of it. They do not skimp on flavor or portions! The rice and beans would have been perfect by themselves but paired so well with that juicy pork. Also, you can't go wrong with maduros! I was offered to get a part of the crsipy skin too, which was soo nice as it's one of my favorite parts! I finished this fantastic plate with a heavenly guava and cheese empanada. If I'm ever back in the area, I will be visiting again.

The staff is friendly and the food never disappoints .....you can eat there or take home there's plenty varieties of empanadas go hungry and try the Philly and shrimp
Cuban sandwich is delicious, definitely recommend. Friendly
