"Was always a fan of nowzio, great for special occasions. but to load $8 for bratkartoffels it has corrupted. for what was served was about 1 bratkartoffel, also not a large, in 1 to 2 mil thick discs. it was like eating a warm smiths cripple with a slightly bitter taste, but harder to digest. I am in order to pay premium prices for high quality food, good service and a beautiful atmosphere. but that was really good. please turn to what they served as bratkartoffeln nowzios they were what was on the label."

"Went there for lunch recently, having not been there for probably 25 years, I'm sure it's the same decor!!We started with soup and bread, vegetable and chicken and both very tasty. Shared an entree of crumbed prawns and the only complaint being it was a small serving of just four prawns but tasted fine.For mains we had a penne with four cheese sauce - delicious and the kind of sauce you mop up the remains with bread; the other main was meat ravioli in a creamy mushroom sauce and that plate was wiped clean too!Certainly not the cheap to eat place I remembered from all those years ago, but food was flavourful and too expensive. I won't leave it so many years to return!!"

"Good size to the bagel burger, it kept me so full I missed dinner! Lovely vibe to the place, nice to look through the books while waiting for our order. the chips are super good!! The smoothie was average, so-so, no complaints but no compliments either. The quesadillas on the menu only said two pieces came however we got three which was a pleasant surprise! We also had to leave before we could finish the chips and the staff were helpful and nice about getting a takeaway container and I even asked for a cup for my smoothie and got poured for me aha"

"Next level fish and chips! The effort put into the food is apparent. Most importantly, chips were spot on extra crispy, just how my family loves them. Good quality fish, nice batter. "Hidden off the beaten tracks of the Cappo strip is this authentic Italian café with all the charm and flavour. I went for brekkie on a wintery rainy day and was the first in. Service was warm and friendly. I ordered the omelet filled with sausage and mushrooms with homemade bread, and a long Mac topped up. I sat next to the wonderful tiles on which customers had left messages for the café; wonderful touch. The food and coffee came out together. Coffee was excellent, and the omelet was very good too. And for the record, they still have the $5 muffin and coffee special which is a wonderful deal for Freo. I will have to come back and try this along with their famous pastas."
