What a great find this was on the way back to melbourne. After finding that nowhere was serving food past 2pm in previous towns this little town was a real gem! The food was delicious, the venue welcoming and comfortable and the staff were fabulous. Definitely worth stopping here. read more.

Delicious tapas with the prawns and kimchi the standout dish! Crispy cold apple cider to wash it down... we will return!

"Returned to this restaurant previously visited 3-4 years ago and found it just as good despite all our lockdowns. Moo’s owner, Marty aka Moo, used the lockdown time to extend and renovate without loosing it’s ambience. Open for breakfast through lunch most days but dinner only Friday and Saturday. Menu varied and caters for everyone, food delicious and coffee excellent. Wine and drinks list also caters for all tastes. Seating comfortable, indoor and outdoor available, it’s wise to book. Charming host, attentive staff and mostly local produce used"

"I booked a table but something had gone wrong and they were apologetic negotiated a table with a promise to eat quick! Calamari with chips and salad came quick but chips were over cooked and salad was a bit slimey plus it was odd to have pear and Parmesan with calamari! Calamari was ok but def from freezer to deep fryer. $26 was a bit steep but I guess it is the country. Ok meal but not memorable at all."

"Love this place. The food is comparable to anything you get in an up market cafe in the city. Yes you may have to wait a bit for your food but it's Venus Bay. Chill out and have another drink. They have recently upgraded and it looks a lot better than it did. The tapas and meat platters are great to graze on whilst you sit outside and enjoy the serenity"
