This is a nice place to go for a meal or just a drink. Great for families as has a nice atmosphere.Meals are average in price. Be warned if you get the soup you will need a drink with it as it's very spicey. View all feedback.
What Jonatan Bechtelar doesn't like about Elephant and Wheelbarrow:
Visited this bar on a busy Saturday night. Nice busy bar and pub. Great place to meet up and relax. However the Rump Steak was as tough as nails. I do hope it was a one off issue. View all feedback.
We liked the decor and atmosphere, the food was good pub food and they had a musician playing. When our party of 17 were up dancing the table was cleared of drinks. Our coats and bags were still there so obviously we were still there. There were glasses of drink and a half full bottle of expensive wine. All the drinks were overpriced. Staff were most unhelpful bordering on rude and refused to do anything about it. Very poor customer service especially after all the money we had spent through the evening.
We were just a little bit too late for food, but that's ok. We stayed for a drink and and a dance. Great atmosphere and lovely staff, really enjoyable night all round!
Met up with friends at the Elephant & Wheelbarrow for a few Friday night drinks. There was a good range of beers & plenty of spots to sit & chat. After a while we decided to check the menu & ended up having a very tasty pizza an steak. Great spot for a casual evening & good pub food
Visited prior to Aladdin show performance. All 3 of us happy will meals, nice atmosphere. Would recommend for a pre-show dinner or drink
This is your workers pub. It's average. The food servings are massive, the service is pubby and as you'd expect. It's a happy place but nothing to rave about.
