What Ursula Turner likes about Golden Orchids:
Very tasty chinese cuisine and one of the few places we found in Chinatown Melbourne that serves deep fried wontons. We ordered ginger scallops and braised beef and vegetables and both meals were very tasty and were delivered very quickly by the friendly waiter. Reasonable prices and service was quick and friendly. Walked in because it was busy and looked popular. It was BYO which may have had something to do with it. The dumplings were delicious. The rest of the meal was good, but not great. Service was well-organised but not somewhere you'd go if you wanted a more personal experience. It was good for a quick meal, but I'd only return for the dumplings. View all feedback.
