"Expect: Great drinks, food, feathers and fabulous performances. Six of us went out to Vau d'Vile and had a brilliant time. You never know what to expect with a new enterprise, but we were not disappointed. We started with some great cocktails in the bar. The 'girls' came out and greeted us then we went through the 'powder room' (there was a lot of glitter) and out into the show room where we were seated for dinner.The shows (you get two) were the highlight of the night. Truly joyous and irresistibly uplifting. There are some amazing performers there. Very experienced professionals.The girls serve you dinner and there are some very fun interactions. Our table had a hoot taking on the challenge to transform a doll into a drag sensation.The whole place is full of love and laughter. The performers' energy is contagious. We had a great night out. What touched me the most was the relaxed, fun way the performers treated each other and the audience. There is a lot of love there between the putdowns and talons, and you don't really see that amongst colleagues very often.There's is a collective endeavour, a sanctuary from the world. Go with your friends. Expect to make new ones."

"The food is very good though quite pricey for what it is. The tables were extremely close where we were sitting and our meals, which needed to be cut were served in bowls, making cutting quite difficult as the bowls would tip if you tried cutting anywhere but in the centre. I don't know if this was due to a trend or because the bowls took up less space than plates would, hence enabling very small tables and the ability to squeeze more people in. When paying we were specifically told how to leave a tip, very tacky. A tip should be at the customers discretion and doesn't need to be brought up by staff."
