What Bertram Nikolaus likes about Malouf Zumzum:
Just a great place to have some authentic Lebanese food .We ordered the dips and the falafel as appetizers and they were full of flavors and delicious .As our main course , we got the slow cooked lamb and the taboulé which were also very yummy and well seasoned .The service was also great and the place was very clean .We'd definitely go back there again next time we're in Melbourne ... This restaurant offered a very underwhelming 'banquet' experience with small portions, mediocre flavors, and the use of low-quality ingredients. The kitchen's performance was disappointing and the bill was excessive. It was a letdown to find out that only one small panna cotta was meant to be shared by two people. I left feeling cheated and needing a satisfying meal at home. View all feedback.

read moreZum Zum has had a mixed reputation lately, with some diners feeling seriously disappointed by the average food, small portions, and high prices. Some even experienced unprofessional behavior from staff. However, others found the authentic Lebanese cuisine delicious, full of flavor, and well-seasoned. The cozy and unpretentious atmosphere, accommodating service, and variety of vegetarian and vegan options were appreciated by many. Although the restaurant can get busy and booking in advance is recommended, the overall experience was enjoyable for those who visited. While opinions on Zum Zum may vary, it seems that the restaurant is worth a try for lovers of Lebanese cuisine looking for a warm and cozy dining experience in Melbourne.
