What Tanya Hermiston doesn't like about Oko Oko:
We visited for dinner- the staff were friendly and the food delicious; however the restaurant lacked all kinds of atmosphere. The airconditioning was directly above the entrance, so much so that it messes up your hairstyle. It was very noisy indoors and lacked any form of background music. Tables dirty. Meh experience. Great beer and wine though. Not really worth the trip. View all feedback. What Lorna glynn likes about Oko Oko:
The Daily Shop, a cafeteria located near Black Pill in Swanston, offers a variety of options such as rice bowls and karaage chicken that can be served with ramen or during the winter. The portions are generous and the chicken is tender, with a flavorful base. However, the flavors may be a bit unbalanced. The pancakes are particularly unique and come in a variety of flavors. read moreA recent visit to Oko Oko restaurant provided a mixed experience for diners. While the food received praise for its taste and variety, some customers found the atmosphere lacking and the service slow. The menu offers a range of options, from okonomiyaki to ramen and fried rice, with some unique twists. The staff were friendly and accommodating, though there were some complaints about dishes being too salty. Overall, Oko Oko seems to be a hit-or-miss dining destination, with some patrons enjoying their meals while others found the experience less than satisfactory.
