"The personal was absolutely terrible, very unwilling, no respect or human condition. they would not even allow us within the counter of the company without checking. we went around the complex that it is located to decide where to eat and went in direction to read the menu, but a worker came out, scream at us sign in and that we were not allowed to move closer or sit a table without checking. this absolutely evil behavior is not acceptable. totally shut off and will never try to come here again."

"Hospitality and service were very good. The meals selected were suitable for the very conservative diners among us who chose butter chicken to be safe, Some of us chose from the vegetarian section of the menu, while others opted for chicken and fish meals. All meals were very enjoyable. The dhal, naan bread and rice were all very good. The room was fairly full, but the noise levels remained acceptable. I will be happy to dine there again. As others have mentioned, parking in Heathmont can be difficult as there are several restaurants in the area."

"Came here for dinner, have dined here before and keep coming back, as I am never let down by the food and service. Staff are really friendly, and the food is excellently price and generously served (lots of delicious afghan naan bread and 4 skewers per serve $14 each). For 3 people with bottled drinks we paid only $42. And left very happy and satisfied. The chicken is so flavourful, I would definitely recommend."

"Tried Shiraaz on a Tuesday night. Was pleasantly surprised. It is situated in the Ferntree Gully Plaza area but across from Royal Oak hotel. The decor was very nice for the position of the restaurant. (no offense to FTree Gully... <br/>Very professional and friendly service. Started with Samosas and Kingfisher beers. Mains were Butter Chicken and Daal with Garlic Naan. Very nice. Butter chicken was tasty and not too creamy/buttery like some others. Daal was very flavoursome and a bit thicker than most so that was good to tuck into with the Naan and rice! All in all, the best Indian I've had in the area (there's a couple. I live in Boronia . Will definitely be back for another meal! Theres an extensive range of dishes there and a couple I hadn't seen before."
