Simple things done exceptionally well. For $16 I get so much pleasure for my meals here compared to Saint Crispin across the road is $91 dollars for uninspired arrogant food. Enjoy what Melbourne can do with food at honest prices. Go there. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shop Ramen:
Be prepared to wait and to pay high prices for ramen. Wasn't expecting it in this area.Staff need to be more vigilant with their choice of conversation and stance. The place was packed out with westerners and of that mainly hipsters. Music was good, drowned the noise level. The noodles were good, stock salty w no oomph.Sitting at the bar I noticed they weigh wine, so good to know if you are driving. View all feedback.
Excellent eating, service and experience. had the Shiyu wheels and was a great value for money. the pigeon cuts were generous, with two big thick cuts coming as standard and they easily get more when compared to the one small piece they at hakata. gensuke great mood in inside, the service is fast and got my meal about 10 minutes after the order. large drinks in the offer, I highly recommend the orion beer, which I think is best commercial beer after japans.
One of my favourite ramen spots in Melbourne and worth the wait since its almost always busy. My personal favourite is the Tofu Miso based ramen, the broth is smokey yet sour, the edamame and vinegar soaked mushrooms just delicious. I get mine without the...egg though and always ask for extra chilli. Good selection of beers and drinks.
My partner and I came here on our road trip from Brisbane and it’s without a doubt the best ramen I’ve tried. BBQ chicken felt quite western but I couldn’t fault it, nor the pork. Bring a Shop ramen to Brisbane!
Each is smiling and new, shop ramen is under new management. when I placed my order, I was sure that all recipes are all the same as the big predators I always loved to eat here. but it wasn't....I had the brisket, it was blanching. the noodles, not so fresh and the broth oily. I feel a little sad, as this was my favorite ramen place. Maybe there were other dishes that were better? I'm not sure if I'll try.
They will not be disappointed. all ramen options are tasty and love the stock table they can make a new interesting friend.
