What troppo likes about The Pinnacle:
This was an unexpected and delightful surprise we ducked in here when our plans were interrupted by bucketing rain. This place is a pub with a typical 'Fitzroy ' vibe. Low key, comfortable, nothing fancy. They had a good range of beers on tap, but it was my food that was the biggest delight. The Fitzroy Pinnacle is not the pinnacle of Fitzroy. The beer and wine were fine but the meals were disappointing. Too many chips crowding the plate, barramundi not quite cooked but the slow cooked chicken was OK. OK seemed to be the adjective of the night.
