"Loved the food. Staff were really attentive. Ravioli with the Bufala and the orange tomatoes was excellent; the rose was fresh and very palatable, the tira misu with pistachio and coconut was very sweet but tasty!"

"The restaurant “Da Romano” offers the best fish dishes in San Foca. I have never been a big fan of sea food but after the way their restaurant cooks it I truly started loving it. The cherry on top for me were the lemon sorbet and limoncello, that is prepared by the owner of the restaurant. I can genuinely say it was the best limoncello I had in Italy. The experience was even better with the service provided by Luca, Raffaele, Luigi and Samuele. Their jokes and remarks were always on point and funny, and we loved to have a chat with them every time we came. During the month of our stay in San Foca, 90% of our lunches we spent at their restaurant. They add a great friendly and happy atmosphere to an already amazing place. Moreover, there you can have a great view on the beach, while enjoying the sea breeze."

"The staff behind the counter (man with beard) is very unaware and rude. I think they should change their management philosophy and how to treat customers... Basically we customers pay you salaries! This is often forgotten... Just because you have a terrace overlooking the sea doesn't mean you can behave like God on earth! I'd rather go somewhere else, and I'm listening to education and respect. ."

"The restaurant position is superb with a lovely view back across the water to the old part of Otranto. The menu was a bit confusing as there is a list of Tapas dishes on the tapas menu but then there are also separate fish and grill dishes so it is a bit difficult to balance the two. There is also a sushi menu. Service was friendly and reasonably prompt given that it was a busy evening. The food was tasty and we felt it was very good value. We would certainly eat there again."
