I was treated to afternoon tea by some friends and was excited to visit the restaurant, as I had enjoyed their tea many years ago. Unfortunately, like many other reviewers, I experienced issues with delays, lack of staff, and sandwich quality (cold, thick, and dry). Thankfully, I did not have to pay or I would have complained. Gorgeous pastries! The best chocolate and cherry cheesecake and the scones were divine. Lovely selection of tea. Sandwiches were ordinary just fine.
