We ate at the Cheney Arms on Sat 16th. We had, Olives/Bread, Halloumi, Whitebait and Fishcake Starters. Lamb Shank, Scampi, Fish of the day (cod) and Lamb Pie with Stilton Mains. 1 pint San Miguel, 2 pints Sunchaser, Bottle of Prosecco. All the food was perfectly cooked and presented. Poor pub food in a nice setting. Friends booked to meet up and were embarrassed by the food. The lamb shank was inedible, meagre, and undercooked. Game pie was tasteless.
