I stopped in to pick up a Slurpee and a pack of gum and was thrilled to see the I assure you we are open homage to Clerks. Way to make the best out of a bad situation. Kudos to the Kevin Smith fans who work here. This made my day. Thanks for going the extra mile. Everything else was as expected. I?m genuinely tired of the NYPD hat wearing miserable mopey cashier. It?s pretty obvious he wears that hat like a security blanket over his serious attitude problem. For years I?ve tried being nice and polite to him and I?ve been coming here less and less because there?s other nearby 7-11 cashiers that at least make you feel welcome. Not asking for much.
