McEwens is perfect. I go places and I am notably not a negative Nelly reviewer so it's hard to find the superlatives necessary. All the elements come together to make a delightful delicious whole. I dined here July 2022 and the food was amazing. Fast forward to June 2024, and it was the complete opposite. Celebrated my birthday lunch here and it was disappointing. The drinks were off, my short ribs tacos had absolutely no seasoning, the pasta salad was so dry and bland, the potato salad was not seasoned or mashed whatsoever and the key lime pie was terrible.
