We really liked this place. I'm a mocha coffee lover but it's hard to find a good mocha coffee, their mocha is one of the best that I have tried. The service was very good, very friendly guys and very good coffee and pastries. The atmosphere was really cool, I think they are in an old hotel.Kid-friendliness: Well, there were some kids there, you can take your kids, but they shouldn't be running around and making loud... What Jonathan Miller doesn't like about Vice Virtue Coffee:
Not your typical cup of coffee. Vice and Virtue is a special experience. Their beans are aged in old bourbon barrels and that has a dramatic effect on the taste of their coffee. Are you drinking alcohol, no. Does the taste of espresso get covered up by the taste of bourbon, for me, yes. It is a quiet atmosphere to go and relax, talk with a friend, and read a book. But, you don't take your kids there to play around and be loud and disrespectful. I think it's a good place to reach your kids that they can be quiet and enjoy a book or a personal quiet game.
Great atmosphere and service! Coffee/espresso, food was top notch.
The avocado toast was very good, with a hint of lemony flavor. But the French toast was fantastic. Crunchy, chewy, soft, sweet and salty. Their sourdough bread is quite a success.
I have been to coffee shops all over America and this one definitely lands in the top. The bourbon barrel aged beans taste amazing! Their specialty is the bourbon mocha.
