What jay likes about Crown Inn Pilton:
A must.!!!..driven past this place many of times, thinking I must find the time to go in..And sure glad we did, the bar is full of atmosphere and fun, the staff are welcoming which is always a great start, especially when we had two hungry children in tow..you can eat in the bar or the restaurant area.. which is fun and wacky design features!!! I don't know if we were just unlucky but today's Sunday roast lunch was really disappointing. I was expecting excellence but what we received was far from that. The meat had a reheated in the mic look about it and it was not great. Too little veg and the red wine gravy was so salty you wouldn't know wine had been added. Overall, pretty poor! You can also dine on dishes and drinks at the counter of the place, and there is a dining room with chairs/tables. Thesmallestguests can sit in children's chairs (please inquire), Depending on the weather, you can also sit outside and eat and drink.
