"Beautiful teeladen. the staff was very friendly and produced a beautiful sausage for our dog, which was very impressed. we had gone from winscombe to axbridge along the strawberry line and the creamy latte and delicious carrot cakes were a welcome reward. there was even a selection of gluten-free for my hubbie, who enjoyed a marzipan baked cake and sawn, warmed up. we'll see each other soon. thanks for a very kind welcome."

"Really loved this place good eating beautiful environment when they are in order with truck stops. brings me back 50 years when I would go out with my father and we would stop in a cafe for dinner. great staff, eating everything cooked while waiting, but not waiting too long. can recommend definately and I will be back soon!"

"Really lovely dinner here. Some of the best garlic mushrooms, a fabulous game pie (with knock out chips, very fresh and I'm sure homemade), locely rum baked banana. Very friendly atmosphere, looking forward to coming back"

"We enjoyed wonderful food, and a great service. We had the 'specials ' menu which really was extremely good value. Just one point my husband and I both found the room very chilly which did spoil our enjoyment. However, if we had mentioned this to them on the night, they could have provided a radiator nearer to us."

"Literally walked past and saw how busy it was (always a good sign) so chanced it to see if they had any availability! Thankfully they did, what a great little family owned restaurant, very accommodating staff, lovely food, good portions! Highly recommended, give it a go if you’re in town!"
