Allegria - Menton

Stopped here on the first night I was in Menton for a salad and a glass of wine and to people watch. Got sucked into the friendly chatter by the locals and the quirky people in the area, tourists included. One glass of wine turned into at least ten. I returned the next two nights. Wash and repeat. Staff are very friendly, chatty, good humoured in fun. There are always people up for a chat and a laugh. I was really happy to find this place. Ended up with a big booze bill over three nights, but it certainly made Menton a delightful experience.

We had a excellent meal this evening which was beautifully presented with super service. The dessert was to die for and seems home baked. The whole experience was first class and tremendous value.

This is the place. Great to sit outside and people watch. We go here, order a couple of drinks and the nibbles go a long way to assuage our hunger. We have not done the meal thing here and to judge from other reviews there are better places for that.

The welcome is pleasant, We had the good Groupon for 2, I took a drink from Monaco and my daughter 1 Mojito, then we had 1 tray of Tapas garnished with ham, mortadelle, salad, 2 crusts with goat cheese, 2 crusts with a shrimp on it, a little salami... the products are good but of ordinary quality. The dessert is a chocolate cake or a cake. Good little time in the pedestrian street...
