Imperial Beach - Menton

Jerome M. a very rude 'beach boy ' who provides sun beds and towels on the Imperial plage in Menton new area) I strongly recommend to avoid this beach and not to get insulted by his hostility arrogance.

We spent a great Friday afternoon on this beach on a recent hot sunny day. The two boys who were organising the loungers were both very friendly and welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. One in particular (i think he was in charge) spoke very good English so was able to assist us most highly. Our French is minimal so this was great that they spoke other languages. The sea at this beach was lovely to swim in and the sun loungers very comfy. The food and drinks service was very good too and the beach has toilets and shower facilities as well.

Enjoyed a couple of meals here. Good menu choice. At busy period, service slows down, but hey, just relax and enjoy the setting. The food will be worth the wait.

C'était notre première expérience de plage privée grâce à un coupon offert par notre hôtel nous offrant le prix des transats et une consommation. Effectivement c'est agréable d'avoir un transat et matelas à sa disposition, mais au final cela fait cher en tous les cas pour notre budget, il faut compter presque 150 € par jour pour un couple avec boissons et repas normal...si on mange midi et soir évidemment cela explose le budget ! Le personnel est par contre sympa, le gros point négatif est la qualité de l'eau de mer qui est trouble à cet endroit du fait du sable et de la proximité de la barrière de rochers.
