This is probably the best Mexican food I've had since moving to Merced.. it's actually flavorful the tj combo was good and the Asada fries were so bomb

The fries were fresh and had real shredded cheese. The birria quesadilla was so tender and flavorful. Tacos were delicious.

The asada fries were the bomb! They even used the nacho cheese on the fries and not shredded cheese. Just needed to be more spicy.

"We've been coming to Em-Tea for years. We've always felt that the boba itself isn't particularly sweet, and the pearls themselves are smaller than other boba places. We like to come back and support, as it's a Merced classic. The space is super inviting and fun to lounge in. There's always a line! The staff are kind as well."

"Yummy. If you haven't tried a cinnamon crunch bagel, don't wait. They're amazing even w out cream cheese. If you're not eating it immediately, get it sliced but un-toasted, and do it yourself at home. It's hard and way more chewy after it's room temp. Ok but not great If you want the full experience, get honey walnut cream cheese too. These also freeze very well for 2-3 months inside parchment/wax paper and a plastic baggy so do yourself a favor and get a dozen."

"The sandwiches are great. I never really liked this until I started going here. The only issue is timing. I will usually order online and pick up during my lunch break. I've done over 15 orders and they have never once had my order ready on time. After I noticed the trend, I started setting up the pick up time earlier and would arrive later. Even then, they still didn't start making my order until I got there. It's quite annoying since it's my lunch break and I don't have that much time. Just as a heads up if you are online ordering. Food is delicious though"
