What User likes about Charters Towers:
we had 2 spare days because of diving trip and drove 1.5 westwards from Tpwnsville to Charters Towers. People were so friendly (tourist office, hotel, steakhouse) lovely. so many well kept old buildings in the centre? during the day a bustling town -lovely. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Charters Towers:
The food was lovely and we could not fault the service unfortunately it was like dining in a nightclub due to the music blaring from the bar downstairs. If we were dining at 10pm I might be a bit more forgiving but we arrived at 6.30pm and had to yell over the music just to have a conversation!
