Four of us had lunch together, everyone had burgers except myself. I had: MIXED MEAT PLATTER $44 w/ sirloin steak, chicken breast, beef short rib, lamb souvlaki, pork belly rasher bacon w/ chips salad I asked for mushroom sauce and for my steak to be bleu. Steak was perfect and moist and tender. Souvlaki was tender and pink, seasoned perfectly. Chicken breast ok, but seasoned well. Short Rib Beef was falling off the bone. Pork belly was tasty, tender and crispy crackling. Bacon was perfect. Chips and Salad was was plentiful and filling. Very impressed with the moist, tasty mixed meat as I have not seen a platter retain taste, moisture for the entirety of the meal. The entrees were: RICOTTA, MUSHROOM PROSCIUTTO BRUSCHETTA $12 toasted sourdough smeared w/ garlic oil topped w/ fresh ricotta cheese, parsley, mushrooms prosciutto TOMATO, FETA BASIL BRUSCHETTA V $10 drizzled w/ extra virgin olive oil balsamic glaze Of special note in the entrees: TEMPURA BATTERED MIXED VEGETABLES V $14 w/ a carrot purée Manchurian sauce A pleasant surprise with the amount and quality of the tempura. Not oily, not overcooked and not over seasoned. Kudos to the wait staff who suggested lemon and salt with the Tempura. It does go well with the Tempura! Lunch was about 1:40pm so it was quiet but good service and atmosphere. Will be back again.
Good pub food, well prepared. Was a nice tasty lunch.

There is always ample parking available, and the restaurant is not usually crowded. The service is quick, and the portion sizes are generous. The prices are reasonable, but for the best value, I recommend visiting on Tuesdays for a variety of parmigiana dishes and Thursdays for schnitzel and rump steak.
