"Although nothing on the outside or the inside reminds the visitor of its long gone past (fizzy drink factory) the first impression of the interior is more than positive spacey and tasteful. The waiter, however, seems to regard us as an unwelcome distraction from his job. He reminds me of a particularly unpleasant army sergeant from a movie I once saw. My wife discovers a piece of soaked bread between the pork meat she ordered, which gives the impression that her dish is a composition of leftovers by anterior guests. She doesn´t hesitate and takes the dish to the innkeeper. On her return she tells me that the man did not want to take responsibility, and even had the nerve to suggest that your husband may have tossed the piece of bread between the meat when you were not looking . I laugh. In The Netherlands we have the saying Zoals de waard is, vertrouwt hij z´n gasten , which amounts to The landlord thinks everybody is like him . The most positive thing I could say about my scad: they were dead. Two halves of one potato next to them... I mean, I am hungry and 6´7 and counting. So, we ask for the check, pay, and leave. To never return. We thought! However, a couple of days later we are invited by a cousin and his wife for lunch at... o Repuxo. What could we say? We were invited! We ordered barrigas de atum (tuna bellies), and we ate them, though they were far too salt."
