I made a reservation for Friday evening and if you're looking for cheap drinks while standing, then this might be the place for you. However, it's not ideal for a meal. It took a long time to order anything, even just to get someone's attention. Couldn't recommend this place more, the staff are fantastic and really well trained and their drinks menu is seemingly endless. I don't think there is a nicer place to drink on a summers eve in this area of London. The food is good but it is not the major selling point of Sub, lounges and cocktails with a pretty outdoor area are its forte View all feedback.
Made booking for Friday night and if they drink after cheap while standing, then it could be her place, but not to eat. takes the age to order everything, even to get the attention and I understand that it is bar in wimbledon on Friday night, but from this reason they should not accept table bookings for dinner. we did not eat at edwards, as no table was booked for us to get even drinks. there is nothing wrong with edwards as animated, loud bar when that is what they are, but not dining room.
This is such a great bar for cocktails, all the bar tenders make each drink with such precision and they’re all super friendly while doing it. I’ve always been on a quiet evening and theres still a cosy atmosphere. Love the fire in winter and the staff came round and gave us popcorn which was such a lovely added touch
I spent last Sunday evening with my friends in Suburban bar lounge. It was the first time, and we will defenetly go back again. We got there for the happy hour and the drinks were a bargain with the 2 for 1 offer. Cocktails were very good and served with a smile from the 2 bartenders,Viktor and Luka. I had a porno star martini to start with and it was one of the best cocktail I ever had in London, my friends had a lady with balls and a pina colada and they were very happy with their choise. The 2 bartenders were polite, funny and very helpful with the choice of our cocktails the place looks really good, and the music was spot on..... A rock bar is what posh Wimbledon needs.
A regular for folks at work. The cocktails out here are quirky and fantastic. Plus they have this 2 for 1 offer till 8pm ? so it's very reasonable. The bar menu is limited so it's probably one area they need to look at but it's well worth a visit as it doesn't get too noisy and you can have a great evening. Also the bartenders are very friendly.
Love this place, so glad my mate suggested this little gem of a bar. The barman was super friendly and the drinks were lush. Love the ambiance and decor... such a nice bar.
