"Das Restaurant ist nicht gerade modern, die Einrichtung ist sehr schlicht. Zum Essen hatte ich den Schlachthof-Salat mit Schnitzelstreifen. Das Schnitzel war zart, der Salat war frisch und mit einem guten Dressing abgeschmeckt. Insgesamt war es ein leckeres Abendessen, das sicher nicht höheren gastronomischen Ansprüchen genügt, die man hier aber auch nicht erwarten würde. Wer also ein recht einfaches, aber schmackhaftes Essen sucht, ist hier genau richtig."

"The Blasius restaurant in Merzig has been an institution and one of the first culinary addresses here for decades. I have eaten several times there. Be it from the hot stone, Moules Frites, or something else. It was always excellent. Mostly in society or on the occasion of a family celebration. I'm sure I'll be back there soon. Be it in late autumn or in Advent or pre-Christmas. I'm looking forward to it!"
