City Bar Metairie is a sports bar located on Veterans close to the I-10 interstate. They offer specials for steaks on Thursdays. My husband and I visited and had no issues. Its casual attire, host an extremely long bar with lots of Televisions for sports viewing, booths and high top tables. It was safe for us , no issues with locales. Got ripped off by a bartender here. Charged $16 for a double shot of Jameson and another $16 for another double shot drink. I was on a date so I didn’t make a scene but I won’t be back to this place. Plenty of of other bars to get a drink in Metairie. View all feedback.
It's an overall trashy establishment and sketchy clientele. Wouldn't recommend at all.
