"I was pleasantly surprised that Shaya lived up to the hype. Five stars. The fried chicken hummus is a must. Wait and order after this is finished. It was a perfect balance of savory and sweet on their amazing bread. If you only come for drinks and an appetizer then order this and be happy. A table favorite. The lamb was good. Tender and perfectly cooked. The flavor was mild and side salad was enough for us to both share. Cinnamon babka was yummy, but I might try another"

"The food was good, but unfortunately not the $240/person price day. The warm lobster salad was very salty and the pan meerrote G... the wine pairing has not impressed us either. We enjoyed the lamb and Pavlova. There was also a mix with a credit card, and the restaurant took 4 phone calls at 10 a.m. to find out. Very unique building/layout. We can return for drinks in the future. I would not recommend the tasting menu, not worth it at their price."

"My first time ever coming to such a very open and friendly and fun environment in this city! This is Metairies best kept secret! The food was delicious and the drinks were on point! The waitress and hostess and all the servers and bartenders were professional and very attentive and always coming around to see if everyone was having a fun time! This is one of those establishments that belong in New York or California but it's right there in Metairie Louisiana! if you're looking for GREAT drinks, games, good food and a friendly and safe atmosphere then this is DEFINITELY the place for you!
