I was here so often and always forget to leave a review. so far. eating here is delicious and differs from the typical American bar food. the drinks are also amazing here! there are a few vegetarian options, but there could be a few more in my mind. it is almost always here and packed out good ground. the service was always great and timely unless it is very busy. the only part is to find a parking space during the l... What Claire Duke doesn't like about Pica's Pub And Grill:
Food was mediocre, small portions for the price. Service was fine, we went with more than an hour until close and felt like we were intruding, staff were putting up chairs more than 15 minutes before service ended. We will not be back.Food: 2/5 View all feedback.

First time in Methuen, so I stopped by Pica’s. This is a fun place, great vibe, waitstaff is super friendly and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
We were out searching on our way to Salem New Hampshire through Haverhill for an ice cream. We passed this place on our way to Salem and on the way back decided to stop. We were just having ice cream no other food. What a great place to stop. Lots of ice cream selections, hard and soft ice cream and in front of the building there is a fenced in area with tons of picnic tables and chairs and lawn games and it is immaculately kept up, very clean. My husband and I both had a black raspberry chip regular size in a waffle cone and they make their own waffle cones.
The Good: Excellent steak tips and tenders. Everything we have tried there has been very good to excellent. Friendly staff, food comes out hot and the beers are ice cold. The bad: It's very loud, and it's not helped by the horrible music they play at a slightly too loud volume, which causes everyone in the restaurant/bar to loudly talk over it. The music thing makes no sense at all. The average crowd age is always mid-late 40s to early 50s and older, yet they play droning house music, with a bit of hip hop in the mix. The overall atmosphere would be improved dramatically by changing to a classic rock station and lowering the volume of the music just a bit. I recommend them for their food, but might stick to take out unless they resolve the music-volume issue.
Our server was wonderful and very attentive, she was extremely friendly. Food was delicious. Beers are a little pricey $10.50 for a 16 oz draft.Food: 4/5
