Cafe Via Mare - Metro Manila

During my aunt's three-day stay at St. Luke's Medical Center, my family and I dined at Cafe Via Mare three times. The restaurant was consistently busy during lunch hours. Our favorites were the bangus relleno (P 500, good for 4) and the pancit luglog. If you're unable to leave the hospital, you can simply call the restaurant and have your food delivered to your room in 30 minutes. Cafe Via Mare is a must-try at St. Luke's BGC!

Their "Binagoongan" dish, featuring crispy pork belly smothered in bagoong, is a must-try, though the monggo soup was missing chicharron on one visit. One standout dish at Café Via Mare is the "guinataang halo-halo," a creamy dessert flavored with banana, jackfruit, bilo bilo, and tapioca. For foreign visitors, the restaurant offers great value for money and provides a taste of Filipino culture and cuisine. With a clean and comfortable ambiance, reasonable prices, and attentive staff, Café Via Mare is a great choice for those looking to experience the flavors of the Philippines.

Located inside St. Luke's Hospital GC, this local diner in the food court offers a pleasant dining experience. I tried the monggo (bean) soup, which was advertised for two but actually a single-sized portion. It was a bit watery but still tasty. The inasal chicken, priced similarly, consisted of 3 skewers of chicken and seemed to be a popular choice among diners. However, I found a tastier meal at Bizu, located just across the breezeway near the interior staircase. This diner was the busiest among the food court restaurants, but I preferred the flavors at Bizu.

Via Mare at St. Luke's Medical Center-Global City is ideal for budget-conscious foodies. Specializing in Filipino dishes, it serves very good food despite having very reasonable prices. If you like Filipino food, you can't go wrong here...and service is excellent too...

Me and my family were in Saint Luke's BGC to visit our family doctor. We had lunch at Via Mare since schedule was around 1pm. The place was packed. Food was tasty and serving size good.We ordered:- Fresh Lumpia - Crispy Fried Tilapia- Kaldereta- Salpicao- Pancit Luglug - Puto BongbongOur total cost wasn't that bad even though the food serving size was a lot.
