I had a great experience at this charming coffee shop. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. I ordered an almond milk cappuccino and it was absolutely delicious! The menu is well-presented, the prices are reasonable, and there is plenty of seating available. View all feedback.

I would give this place a 5 star because the food was excellent. But the cleanliness of the restaurant was terrible. There was a fly sitting on our food constantly which was a bummer. Also overall it looked very shabby and dirty.We ordered regular breakfast stuff like French toast, pancakes, eggs etc and all were good. I just hope they do some deep cleaning of the restaurant for guests to enjoy and go back again. View all feedback.

I love this place! I probably go way too often. Their Grill Prosciutto is amazing. I go often for a cup of coffee and sit outside. The service is always very friendly and the menu is delicious. Quite the treasure in Metuchen.
We love Brewed Awakening. Every Saturday we work out at the YMCA, and afterward we go to Brewed Awakening for breakfast. Sometimes we meet friends, and sometimes Jim and I go by ourselves. We are always greeted warmly by Annie or another member of her staff. The service is warm and attentive, and the food is excellent. If you haven't tried the Huevos Rancheros, you're in for a treat. The chorizo is homemade, and it is absolutely delicious. We are so grateful to have Brewed Awakening in our town.
