"It's hard to add to the praise already lavished quite rightly on this restaurant. The lunchtime set menu (the menu initiation note: available only on certain days) is amazingly good value, though the a la carte is hardly excessive either. Everything we...had was interesting, imaginative and beautifully presented, with discreet but attentive service. It was a joy to be able to enjoy food like this without receiving a crippling bill at the end. A treat, certainly, but not the once in a lifetime extravagance which you might associate with a Michelin starred restaurant."

"We discovered this restaurant for a birthday and we were not disappointed. A young chef holds the kitchens, but he really has a big one. I've never eaten foie gras as good as La Forge! And the frame is really nice to the beautiful days, just in front of the Daniel Fountain pond! Everything is perfect in this restaurant! The adage says that it is by forging that we become a blacksmith! It is by forging that we become an excellent leader!"
