What User likes about Vista la Ribera:
TripAdvisor does not have the location of this restaurant marked correctly. This is located on a hill just outside of La Ribera. We stopped and had a great meal. Fish tacos, flan and chile relleno very reasonable and very good. Be sure to check Vista La Ribera out if you are in the area View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Vista la Ribera:
We went to dinner twice last week, the service was really slow, some of the foods was cold, the servers did not clear the table, they also offered no desert, both nights of service was the same. View all feedback.

"Decent food but overall this experience was an enormous let down. Eat here twice, the first time we brought them around 3lbs of fresh tuna and they only served us about 1lb--we assume they kept the remainder to sell to other customers. The manager (or who'm we presumed to be the manger) was a short little guy with a mustache. Super rude, giant attitude and was the sole reason we walked out on our second trip. If you're going to steal customers fish to sell to other customers, at least provide decent service. Cannot recommend avoiding this place enough. The fish we didn't bring here our first trip was obviously old and smelled awful, and in turn made my wife sick. Pro tip: skip this place, go to Triny's down the street."

"We asked for the empty table near the entrance and for some unknown reason that upset our server. Although, I 'm not sure if that was our server because we never saw him again. We might as well have been invisible. Waiters passed by us is a never ending parade and refused to make contact. I had to repeatedly ask servers to provide service. It took two hours to get our meal. The food was ok but overpriced for what you got. Had to make myself some toast when we got home because my portion was so small. Smokey Joe 's down the road was packed while there were a lot of empty tables here. I suspect that the glory days for Beans and Rice have passed and the wait staff is done with serving gringos that don 't come in dripping with money. Also, Yelp lists that they accept credit cards but I was sternly told cash only by the head waiter. Glad we had enough. Lots of other excellent food options in Los Barriles, don 't waste your time and money here."

"Vegans! Take note this is one of the few restaurants in it's general area that will make you vegan food. We came every night during our stay for the vegan tacos made with sautéed veggies that come with amazing guacamole, pico de gallo and salsa all on the side. This is not on the menu so be specific when you order. And for non-vegans, the shrimp tacos are to die for!"
