Carlos Gabby's Steakhouse Grill

The service was mediocre. the suppe was like at the bottom of the pot. our escape can't get out at different times, so we were almost finished and others hadn't got their food yet. it is not the cage carlos and gabbys of queens.

Very pricey, drinks served in a plastic cup, cold food, 18% gratuity for a waiter who only came once called upon... on a side note the food came out very fast

This is a total joke. I asked them for more chicken for my $15 sandwich and the server said “no”. I don’t care if I had plenty of chicken if I asked the answer should have been yes regardless. That being said I literally had 3 bites of chicken. Infuriating. Hungry. Horrible service. Never go here.

I really hate to leave a bad review of anywhere, but I feel that people who are unfamiliar should be forewarned about certain places. This is one of them. I am visiting from out of town and wanted to have a nice lunch on my own. I saw this restaurant while leaving another the previous night. I cannot stress enough that this place served the worst food that I have had in my entire life. I am not exaggerating. I probably should have taken the hint when the place was stark empty. But, it was early and I wanted to try since the menu looked good. My first issue is actually the most minor, I was greeted, I sat and then the server brought me water in a carafe. However, the cup was a small plastic cup. This is different for me when it comes to a sit down restaurant but it is not the end of the world. My drink was also brought out with a small plastic cup, canned drink. I ordered the one thing I figured nobody could get wrong. Fried chicken. When it was brought to the table by the server I was horrified off the top. It was big sort of panko crusted looking chicken. Definitely not southern fried as it stated on the menu BUT, we are in Miami (not necessarily southern) but I did expect fried chicken. This was most definitely not fried. I repeat it was NOT fried. The chicken itself was boiled as a person who has cooked my entire life I know the smell of boiled chicken as well as the texture completely different from fried. Also, the outside was crusty, but dry. Most likely this was a boiled chicken that was coated and baked. Not at all what I expected and not even close to what the menu says. Sigh. I really wanted to like this place, mainly because I am on a trip and good food is a must on any trip. Being in a place that I am unfamiliar with, and being the only person in there I was not comfortable making this complaint (especially since one guy already walked past me twice without acknowledgment. I kindly asked for a check after the horror set in and after eating the shoestring fries that came with a $24 chicken plate. Also, the slaw smelled a little sour did not even risk it. This place may have some good food, I don 't know because I only know what I ordered and what I received. However, they need to rethink the fried chicken, take it off of the menu, consult someone, and never give anyone that dish again. What is worse, they add gratuity of 18% automatically. It is like I literally just set $33 on fire and watched it burn.

This place is horrible!!!!! Food was nasty. Service really didn't exist. I would recommend not going here.... ever! Extremely overpriced. We paid $5 for two cans of soda!!!!!! Yes, those are plastic cups and paper plates. They had actual wine glasses, but they do not even serve alcohol!!!!! This place is a complete rip off.....cheap food, over cooked, and served at an extremely high price. Please dont waste your money here.
