We discovered this lovely restaurant just around the corner from our hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, and I enjoyed a mimosa to celebrate my birthday. Our server, Rebecca, was amazing—such a sweet person with a constant smile! It’s a charming little spot! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jules Kitchen At Circa 39:
This restaurant offers a very friendly and relaxing atmosphere that I appreciated, along with attentive staff. The food is average, and the prices are also typical for the area. However, I had a problem with the water, as both glasses I received were dirty. The first one had a strong smell reminiscent of a wet dog, while the second had dirt floating in the ice cubes. After bringing this to the staff's attention twice... View all feedback.
Unpretentious food at reasonable prices for the area. Good portions and relaxed, friendly service. We ate breakfast lunch here during our stay and enjoyed both.
Bright and airy, with an outdoor seating area. Quick and attentive service. Fantastic food, especially for the price given the area. We stayed nearby at a chain hotel but having eaten here we wished we knew about Circa 39 earlier.
A lovely lunch with reasonable prices. I went twice in one week! Host not very welcoming though. Five stars for the food and the outdoor atmosphere and the service! Three stars for the hostess. This would have been a five star review, but the hostess made me feel a bit unwelcome. Pros: The menu was excellent. The first day I went I had the egg Sammy, which was wonderfully done. The chili aioli was on point. I ordered gluten-free bread, and they accidentally brought it out on regular bread, and the server was quick to correct the mistake. The portions were huge. With the gluten-free bread, you basically ended up with two sandwiches. The server recommended the bruschetta the second time we went, and it was honestly the best bruschetta I have ever had. There were two different stylings. The first featured prosciutto and mascarpone while the second was a bit more traditional and featured tomatoes, ricotta and pesto. They were both outstanding. Really works of art! And the bread was soft, which Is a really vital element with this bruschetta, because the toppings were piled high! My husband had the avocado toast which was good but not excellent. The tomato relish remains the standout on that dish. It would’ve been better if the egg had a little bit more softness to it. Perhaps try one step below soft-boiled. The bang-bang cauliflower was also very very good. It is a twist on regular bang bang sauce, in that it has a curry element to it. Cons: A bit disappointed that the ceviche did not come with chips. That doesn’t make any sense to me. I would even pay extra for chips, but there were no chips to be had. The aforementioned hostess seemed to really not want to sit me on the porch, even though I had a reservation. It was the last table, and she made noises about “it being hot in the sun and was I sure I wanted to sit there?” I would feel sort of like a nuisance sitting there after she said those things, because it was clear she did not want me to sit there. There were nice tables inside as well, but she sent me way off in a corner near the café area with two people talking loudly on their phones. I know I was just a single person, but gosh, I was really made to feel unwelcome. A couple of days later, when I returned with my husband, we had a different host, and he was happy to let us pick any table. Very warm and welcoming and a very different experience.
My food was almost tasteless. If you’re looking for a spot with really good breakfast, I would try somewhere else. The location and decoration was perfect. I ordered avacado toast with bacon. Service was ok.
Food is delicious !! the restaurant waiter so friendly, always smile so impressive!
