This is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to! I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful establishment on their opening day, and it was absolutely spectacular. The food was incredible, some of the best Italian cuisine I have ever tasted. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with live music adding to the overall experience. The service was top-notch as well. What Frieda O'Kon doesn't like about Strega Gastropub:
The service was very good, but the food was average; old lime slices, fish not so fresh. I was surprised the chef let the fish tacos leave the kitchen ... unacceptable! View all feedback.
This place was absolutely terrible. we went to Google reviews and couldn't believe how far away from the truth they were all. this is marketed as an Italian restaurant, but is actually a tapas-like. the menu was missing the half of the things that were promised online, and the craft beer selection consisted of 1 generic ipa and budweiser/corona options. seriously!? the pasta was boiled and all the meals we ordered were at best moderate. we spent over $100 for three people for a dinner for which I would otherwise not pay $25, total. the only thing they had done for them was that they were completely empty when we came (around dinner on a Friday) – something that we appreciated, but also as another sign of their false advertising. reservations required? please. do you like one and don't waste your time here.
Very good eating, but the pub was so loud that I had to talk to the hostess, and I felt like I had to wear my headphones to avoid hearing damage.
