We went to the Kilwins at Mercato. It was an unplanned visit the smell of vanilla and chocolate as we walked by was too much to resist. The server was a friendly and helpful young lady and the ice cream was out of this world. My family stopped into Kilwins Ice Cream last night while walking around the beautiful Christmas celebration in Naples. Like most of you, I’ve had ice cream all over the Country. Kilwins was, by far, the worst I’ve ever had! My wife’s choice of butter pecan had freezer burn and had chunks of ice in it. Mine was gritty, not creamy, and way over sweetened.
