Today I visited the place with my family and the drinks prepared by Lazaro were very well recommended, the pizza and the tostones were divine. The attention from Lola is incredibly special. I recommend that if you go to the place ask to be attended to by her, she took care of us from the moment we arrived until the end View all feedback.
What Nasher Fabregas doesn't like about Cerveceria La Tropical:
Repeatedly asked the manager to put on the Caribbean Baseball series in which DR v PR were playing at Marlins stàdium (1st time the series has ever been played in America in a MLB stadium). He continually ignored our request and his staff was afraid to approach him. Instead we were forced to watch two college basketball teams (UK v Tennessee). 3 courses ordered. 2, one of which is wrong. The third never arrived. rude staff: I had to get up to ask for a pose.
The main waiter was great. But the drinks and food services was poor. Delivered by other service people who forgot drinks and food, napkins among others details. Also The kitchen closed early so we couldn't order more food.
This was our first time here, but we will back. Great food, drinks, service and ambiance. We enjoyed everything about our meal.
Really nice place, tasty bar eat and drink, but very slow service. our waiter didn't even recognize us 15 minutes. he was pleasant when he came by, just inattentive. had to ask for silver wear and serviettes from the food runner, ordered a second round beverages from another passing waiter. parking was easy, nice big go right opposite the entrance. there was a little live music that was great and we had a great time!
We came to cerveceria la tropical for my birthday and were amazed how beautiful it was! the drinks were great, our waiting staff were very attentive. I know brunch was only recently introduced here, but no one came to his order at the same time. some people started eating 10 minutes after the other. I know with the time that the kitchen should be able to maintain with commands. I can't expect to bring friends family from the city
