Food is out of this world. The best pub food we’ve ever had. Chef popped out to chat with customers what a nice gesture. Landlord is very funny and accommodating. Definitely our favourite place in Devon. View all feedback.

We went there for lunch as where we wanted to go was unavailable. It was fairly quiet 4/5 other diners already there but we had to wait 40/45 minutes for our fish chips and ham eggs chips which were very good but it was a long wait. “Canned music” ugh! View all feedback.

"Unbelievable! We (family of 15 plus dog) called yesterday morning at the end of our vacation in devon before all of our separated go away. the personal could not have been more helpful and accommodation for us. unintrusive music and song from a gent playing a uke made our very unhurried visit a complete joy. many thanks."
