Wonderful lunch in a village previously unknown. The landlord, Steve is a mine of local information and was so very hospitable. Sundays menu was vast and the quality was superb. Many thanks to Steve and his lovely girls. View all feedback.
What BandTB doesn't like about Gardeners Arms:
After 4 years we returned to find little change. The garden is scruffy and needs maintenance, but the waiting staff were attentive and efficient. The menu is still basic, and whilst the vege lasagne is still there, it now includes (unwelcome) chilli (or something similar) which ruined the flavour. My colleagues agreed that the somewhat simple food was just OK. Average covers it so well. This pub could be so much more... View all feedback.
