"Haven't had a chance to visit for a while, but I thoroughly enjoyed my return, which I celebrated with a delicious pile of soft fluffy pancakes served with crisp bacon and lashings of maple butter, and a very well-flavoured decaffeinated coffee. Still the same cosy relaxed atmosphere, staff were friendly and attentive, and I hope to visit again soon."

"Best place to eat in Brighton! Can't compare it to anywhere else. In particular the mezze offers a delicious and healthy array of different veggie based foods. Nice eating area upstairs, nice central location. The price is very reasonable for what you get (has only gone up a small amount over the years understandably). No complaints whatsoever!"

"Hassocks kebabs never fail! The boys have been closed for a bit whilst they've been away in holiday so it is lovely to have them back open. We ordered 2 mixed lamb and chicken shish kebabs, the meat and pita came together with the salad and sauces all separate which was perfect so the bread wasn't soggy! The meat was so tender and juicy. Can't recommend them enough! Thanks boys"

"When I was here for the second time at this weekend, I and my partner came for the first time for two milkshakes. they were amazingly good. but to go for eating was a problem....who makes the crepes with the long hairs please put them their hairs. in a hair net when they are made over the herde hovering where they are made!"

"Canteen style dinner specialising in Afghan food and Pakistani Curry but doing lots of other things. I ordered a Lamb Karahi and got mutton cooked in a very sour and bitter unappetising sauce. Naan bread was supermarket style without any great taste. Rice was OK but definitely not Basmati. There are better places in Crawley to go for a curry so I won't be back...but they do do Fish and Chips...."
