What Sully doesn't like about Potomac Pizza Potomac Village:
I agree with the comment about the dining in issue. We ordered a carry out pizza and when we walked outside it was so pleasant we decided to sit on the patio (no one else was there) and eat it. A worker at the counter said that was fine and offered us paper plates and napkins. Returned the next time and did the manager told us we couldn’t sit on the patio to eat our pizza-that we could only sit there if we did dine-i... View all feedback.
Just left Potomac Pizza Middle River and was beyond disappointed. As I understand, they are under new management and it shows. They have lost my business until they make changes. I ordered a chicken cheese steak sub, and the amount of meat they put on my sandwich was terrible. The chicken was really thin. I could hardly taste the meat. I feel like I paid for bread and lettuce. The service was great.
First time in Potomac Pizza. It was clean and once I walked in I was greeted by Ginny who asked if I was dining in or carrying out. I came in with my children and we got seated . After a short discussion we ordered mozzarella sticks and two pizzas Cheese and Pepperoni). Only about 3 minutes after ordering our Mozzerlla sticks arrived . The kids who are picky about eating them . Ate all 6 of them and said they lied them. The pizza arrived right after and Ginny who was also our server got my two daughters refills . The pizza was actually really great . Which is an understatement because the kids for the first time ever ate every slice of the large and medium pizza we had purchased . On the way out I asked for a take out menu and 4 more kids menus since the kids spilled sauce from the mozzarella sticks on them. Ginny smiled and handed me a few and the kids were happy. Would recommend this place to anyone who has kids like me!Parking: There are several parking spots mainly because half the lot isn’t being used by businesses that are no longer in the shopping center.Kid-friendliness: Open and friendly to children.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp on the right side of the front door where people that are handicapped can use to gain access.
This is a great place for a quick drink. Ginny is very nice and is one of the best. The food is hit or miss, order a custom pizza otherwise it's a slice that's been under a warmer. The only other issue is there is a lack of direction and management. On numerous occasions the bartender is answering phones, running food, and welcoming guests.Update: I've witnessed the food under a warmer. Furthermore, I've seen multiple health code violations. Do yourself a favor and not respond.
I like the pizza at this place. The staff is friendly. I will recommend the margarita pizza my favorite.
The food is almost always good and the atmosphere is great, but only on days that Alex is working. If he were there everyday this would be a five-star review across the board. When he is in, you receive your order promptly and your drinks are refilled before you ask. He provides a superior level of service and runs the show while he is in.When he is not at work, not only does the quality of food change (which is odd because he’s not working the kitchen), but the customer service, attentiveness, and most importantly atmosphere changes drastically for the worst. Truthfully, it’s not worth venturing in if Alex isn’t working (Tuesday-Friday he’s in).
