Ran across this bakery this Morine. Will definitely go back. The breakfast bar made with cornflakes, almonds and coconut were FANTASTIC! !!!

Loved the Mandarin Orange cake, the Hot Cross Buns and the brown bread. I wish I was visiting longer and can't wait to visit again!

"I didn't expect it to feel like such a bar but whatever. Service was good. Server hit all the check marks, friendly, checked to see the food was good/correct, and refilled drinks without being asked. Only disappointment was the the price did not match the portion. Didn't quite feel like we got our moneys worth. Maybe that comes with a smaller town, dunno."

"This pub is low key with a varied menu and fantastic fish and chips!! Their deck in summer is beautiful and the bartender is fantastic. The place has great character and is close to a wonderful second hand book store too!"

"I dropped in on a very cold Feb. Sunday and was impressed in the first instance. I was greeted by a wonderful Ambassador/ Barkeep in Nora.The environment is welcoming, warm and friendly. I ordered a sampler and Nora delivered, based on my preferences. The beer was excellent with a special mention for The Kaber.I did not get to sample the food as I was there to sample the Craft. The menu is pretty diverse and there is something for all tastes.I will sample the food on my return.The gift shop is pretty cool as well.Well worth a destination stop or just passing through.I came, I experienced and got the BB cap!Parking: Plenty!"

"First time to the Oaken Barrel pub in Greenwood N.S . The service was impeccable, very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was inviting and warm. The appetizers were delivered fast and hot. The main course was plated beautifully, and absolutely delicious. The whiskey glaze in my burger was so good , never tasted anything like it. Definitely recommend!!!!"
