I’ve been warned by fellow cyclist that it isn’t good and expensive, but had to see it for myself. Breakfast and lunch menu, both sounded really good, at least 2-3 vegan options on each. 3 sweet treats out of 5 were vegan. As I only carry £10 while out cycling for breakfast couldn’t afford the bigger option, went for mushrooms and tomato on sourdough. While it was tasty it was leaking an umph! Maybe hummus on toast o... View all feedback.
What Liam King doesn't like about Flint Barn Cafe:
Very disappointed with the vegan food choice, vegan options were just the veggie option without eggs and still the same price, despite a sign saying please ask for vegan options, they were not able to give anything like a vegan sausage or scrambled tofu. Very little planning or thought of the vegan diet. However they had a very good selection of vegan cakes available at a good price and good portion size too. Updated... View all feedback.

Had a nice sweet granola flapjack. Very tasty. Very friendly staff
I’ve been warned by fellow cyclist that it isn’t good and expensive, but had to see it for myself. As I only carry £10 while out cycling for breakfast couldn’t afford the bigger option, went for mushrooms and tomato on sourdough. While it was tasty it was leaking an umph! Maybe hummus on toast or some herbs or anything more creative to make it better would be appreciated. It was just above average. Shame that can’t give 5* to vegetarian place as not many around. Other riders tried cake (not vegan, but very good) and vegan flapjack, was too sweat, only ate half. Lots of room for the improvement.
I was thrilled to discover this spot while traveling south. We only had coffee and cake, but both were absolutely delicious. I made a silly choice with the coconut on a jack, but it turned out to be fantastic. The place is beautiful as well! Updated from previous review on July 20, 2022.
This is a fantastic restaurant that offers fresh and delicious breakfast options. They have a wide variety of vegan choices available. The owner is lovely, and I enjoyed chatting with her. The building itself is also beautiful. I will definitely be returning!
