Stayed here on a family stay with my husband amd toddler. Lovely setting and east access to all East Cork attraction. Room on arrival was big and looked lovely, however on inspection the bedaide tables were covered in dust and just didnt seem up to top standard of hygiene-which was very poor regarding the times we're in at present. I had the most perfect time in this most amazing beautiful house with the friendly staff consistently asking if I had enough of everything. I was here for 3 full days which gives a great sense of a place and cannot say enough about the wonderful owner, and beautiful surroundings. It is simply lovely. I never wanted to leave my room, but the gardens were so beautiful, and the breakfast so fashionable and nutritious and perfectly laid. I will be back very soon.
I had lunch at this restaurant today. It was really lovely and the prices were amazing. I ordered the Ardsallagh goat cheese and it was delicious. The balsamic dressing was excellent. My mum had the chicken and hock terrine. The portions were very generous. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very special. You will not be disappointed. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Breakfast was good, pancakes had been reheated and couldnt feed them to my baby as they were hard. Waitresses at breakfast were so lovely and helpful, other than that we saw no other management during our stay or no friendly face to ask us was everything ok.we hs to ask for more toilet roll, shower gel ,towels and for our bin to be emptied. Barnabrow has a lot to offer but unfortunately we won't be returning any time soon.
Had our Christmas party here and loved it. I was staying in one of the cottages, they are so quaint and beautifully decorated. Considering it was December the room was perfectly warm. The venue for the party was ideal, it was a short stroll from my room and had areas for eating, dancing and drinking so we didn't have to keep moving around which led to a lovely evening. The food was amazing. Everything I had was delicious and breakfast the next day was equally delicious. The only negative was there was no wifi and getting a signal in the room was nearly impossible
Booked Barnabrow for a family get together mid August and couldn't have been happier with our day out . Lovely setting , great menu choices , kids also well catered for with either regular kids menu or half portions of adult mains . Would definitely recommend Barnabrow for that special occasion. Thanks to all the staff for looking after us so well.
