"We often go to the crowd with some friends from St. Joseph on Saturday nights. My husband and I went to lunch for the first time yesterday. I love her tortilla soup. I expected to get a smaller portion as it was the lunch time, but to my surprise it was the same big bowl. It's the best tortilla soup in Waxahachie. They make everything fresh, including their tortilla chips. We had nothing we didn't like. I recommend Mi Casa. The owner and the servers are so pleasant and helpful."

"The atmosphere is very cozy, great for reading or chatting. Sofa beds, small tables, outdoor tables, nooks, and paintings. I went to get coffee and read. I can't rate the food as I didn't get any, but the dishes that did come by looked good. They would also bring your food/drinks to where you were sitting at rather than having to go upto the counter to pick it up. Will definitely come back to read some more and get coffee here. They have a assortment of signature lattes as well. I wish they had some variety on the teas. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Busy lunch time visit. Just don't dig TexMex as much as traditional Mexican. I had fish tacos (tilapia) which were as good as tilapia can be (don't dig that either). Service was sharp which gets the weight for this interaction."
