The menu is limited. I ordered the beef soup and really enjoyed all the flavorings they brought to the table to add to my broth, such as fish cakes, spicy peanuts, kimchi, steamed white rice and my absolute fave the sweet and sour chili cucumber. What Hyunseok Gil doesn't like about Mr. Tang:
Upon finding my usual seolleongtang spot closed, I decided to try this restaurant instead. I ordered their seolleongtang and tteokbokki, which turned out to be average in taste. The ambiance of the restaurant matched the food – it was functional but lacked any distinct character or charm.
