The best Japanese in Utah!!!! I'm so glad we have at least an excellent Japanese restaurant in Utah. I love everything in the menu. My husband has always removed Sushi until he has tried his Californian role, we have to order three reels now, because 1 he does not want to share, 2 he always eats 2 reels and 3 of course one for me. What Jay G doesn't like about Suehiro Japanese:
The food was really good. Everyone is friendly. Tonight, the only issue is our food came out after a seemingly longer time than is typical. The food that should have been hot was cold. It was obvious it had been sitting out for 5-10 minutes. Our server only came twice and so we didn't get refills on water or more drinks. Food is delicious. People are great. Seems they have a difficult time keeping a good pace. The ge... View all feedback.

Teriyaki is perfectly cooked, try the beef it is my favorite and most meals come with a salad, it is another thing that we order extra because my husband loves it. Bengo meals or so huge I never finish it, so take it for lunch the next day. You have to try, you won't be disappointed!
My darling. Absolutely my favorite Japanese restaurant in Salt Lake County. I've been fed with my family since the place is open.
One of my favorite sushi spots!. Delicious sushi. What else can I say? The service is always very friendly. The guys behind the Sushi Bar always remember our faces. The environment and the decor is beautiful, and NOTHING beats its legendary Confidential role. Go with an empty stomach and order one. I've never had such a role in the valley!
Love it. Oshi... Wonderful food. Good service, though not as good as years past
More Data Needed. In our first visit today we had the miso, seaweed salad, tempura shrimp and the Blue Heat and Diablo rolls. The miso and salad met the industry standard. The tempura lacked the lighter, more delicate mouth feel that I am accustomed to in Japanese cuisine often the result of overmixing and/or failing to keep the batter chilled but this may have been an aberration for this restaurant. The rolls were expertly constructed and flavorful. Phenomenal service made me forget that I was eating in a strip mall. While Suehiro didn 't knock my socks off it did manage to land a spot in the lower realms of my I like it list. At least for now.
